Going in the right direction! This month is going to be tough due to multiple boarding trips and being on the road, but I am planning ahead and determined, so no excuses. My cheeks / jawline are getting more defined and I can see my collarbones and sternum again, woop!

January 27, 2010 Weigh-In
Closing in on 50 pounds lost… and averaging about 5 a month which is a good rate. It could be faster, but it’s going in the right direction and I have patience. I’m going back to Muay Thai tonight, which will help out immensely in that area anyway and I’ve missed it… a lot. No more making excuses to justify a break from going – I am always going to go. I want to get my advanced green rank and get back to kicking ass!

January 14th, 2010 – Weigh-In
It’s been a month since I last put up a weigh-in result here – the last few weeks have been full of turmoil and stress and that had taken away some of my focus. The last couple of weeks I’ve been really consistent though and I’ve started making progress again. Down 3 pounds from a month ago and I’m happy about that. While it could have been more, I’m happy to be making progress again, especially to have a net loss with all that holiday eating included!

I could have sworn I put in the right numbers from last week, but apparently I didn’t – for last week I put in the same numbers as the week before.

December 9th, 2009 Weigh-in
My last mini goal was to hit 250 by today and I made it! Next mini goal is set at 245 for 2 weeks from now.

I am on pace to hit my next mini goal and by maintaining this pace, I will hit my first main goal of 230 by my birthday midway through February. I expect the losses to slow down some somewhere around then at which point I will change up my workouts and switch up my nutrition plan to keep things motoring along.

I thought I had only lost a pound, but it turns out I wrote down the wrong number last week, so I lost just under 2 pounds this week. On pace to hit my next goal!
November 25th, 2009 – Weekly Weigh-In
I’m going to record my weight once a week now on Wednesday mornings and record the results here. I chose Wednesday because I think it will give me the most accurate measure – I typically take my cheat meals on a day on the weekend which ends up adding water weight, all of which should be gone by Wednesday.
Anyway, I weighed in at 254 today – just over 10 pounds down from 10 days ago. It feels really good, even though I know most of that is water weight. My future losses should level off in coming weeks. At my current size I can safely lose 2-3 pounds a week without losing muscle. My first mid-term goal is to hit 230 by my birthday on February 13th. To make that goal, I need to lose weight at a steady rate of 2.1 pounds per week. Judging from the rates I’ve lost weight in the past, I will hit my goal by keeping consistent.
Next short term goal is 250 by December 5th!
